The name

Ae sconte means hide and seek.

It is the oldest children’s game, and the courtyard is the perfect place to play it: a small Venetian square full of corners and niches, with a well head in the middle. Inside, a warm room with wooden beams and old photos of Venice; outside, tables dressed in red.
